Fall at Ladies of Liberty

Well - it is fall!
I know this because all of the Civil War reenacting equipment is now cleaned and put away at my house! (and of course the leaves are changing color and it is cooler!)

Now it is time to turn to sewing! We have some great clubs and block of the months going on in the shop right now. Check out our web page for a list of these at www.ladiesoflibertysewing.com.

We will be starting a new block of the month club in January call Land of Lincoln Sampler by Carol Hopkins. This is a great quilt with a lot of reproduction fabrics used. Stop by and take a peek and sign up for this BOTM!

We are starting the Liberated Ladies Sewing Club in November as well. This will be Fridays from noon to 5 pm. This is a no host day of sewing for free in our sewing room! Get away from the phone - laundry - and dishes. Come by yourself or bring a friend with your projects to work on and spend the day sewing at LOL!

If you haven't stoped in for some time; do so today! We have lots of fun stuff going on here!

Happy Fall!

What has Ladies of Liberty been up to?

The shop has been very busy! We had 564 people through the shop during Sew Oregon Shop Hop! We are now moving on to the Lazy Days of August Shop Hop (18th - 28th)!

We are starting our new $1.00 a month block of the month club with a Gone with the Wind theme in August as well.

The Farmers Wife club is moving right along also - we are starting our fifth month! Time just flies when you are having fun!! LOL! And we are having a LOT of FUN!

We have made dolls and worked on a square in a square class this summer as well.

We have finished Jo's Little Women Club #9 and the ladies have renamed themselves to the Scrappy Rebels. We will meet the end of August (28th) to kick that club off. Check out our website under the Newsletter tab for all the info on this group (wwwladiesoflibertysewing.com).

Speaking of websites - our crashed! We are working hard to get it back up and going! We have the home page back and the August newsletter on it but the rest a work in progress!

Just a reminded we will be closed over Labor Day weekend as it is Diane's annual family vacation time. We hope you all have a fun and safe holiday with your family as well.

If you haven't been in for awhile - come by - we have new fabric and books plus much more arriving all the time.

See you in the shop. Happy sewing!

We have new classes posted on the web page at: www.ladiesoflibertysewing.com check it out!

We also have a new BOM (block of the month) that will start in January. It is a tribute to the Civil War (150 years ago). Check out the web page for more info on that as well. Call the shop if you are interested in signing up for this. I will have more info here soon.
